Madison initially approached me as she was starting to open up her new hair salon business. Upon confirming a newly leased space, she got to work with the salon's design and bringing her business plan to life. What she needed help with was her website to prove to new customers that they could trust this salon and their staff, as well as find more information about the services they offer.

Website Goals and Objectives:

• Link customers with their stylists quickly for booking and pricing

• Have consistent branding with the salon's physical aesthétique

• Act as a connection point between Google Business Profile and visiting the office

Challenges and Solutions:

• Since this was a new salon, a credible business profile needed to be established online. Once the website's design was close to finalized with Search Engine Optimization (SEO) enabled, we started publishing the website with the domain to start the website's history. From there, Bocca ensured that Google mapped and crawled the website for initial visibility, including the stylist's linked booking pages for additional linkage credibility. Lastly, Bocca setup the salon's Google Business Profile with the website domain/URL so that it was easily searchable using the Maps or Search features.
  

• The owner had some pictures to start the website with, but wasn't sure they had enough. With the first pictures in hand, Bocca found a couple of free-for-commercial use stock images that matched the branding the Salon provided. On the various pages of the website, current studio and portrait photos were mixed with stock images to amplify the aesthétique in creative ways to ensure a consistent user experience and "look and feel" was created. Over time, we replaced stock background photos with real ones and the site now regularly updates their photos to be used in social media, promotions, and on their website.
